Level Out 31-Ton Heavy Machine

Scope

This 31-ton heavy machine press came from the US to the Netherlands and will be used to press oil out of nuts. Since installation and commissioning will not happen until next year, the client needs to store this twin screw press long-term.

To prevent grease migration, the shafts with gears must be rotated manually each month. To not cause any wear or damage, the machine needs to be level. That's where I came in. With the help of heavy transport company Goes Groep, which provided the heavy crane and installation crew, we set the machine level with a laser. By having done the preparation work well and having the right equipment, the job went smoothly.
